# Petodo

> Petodo is a desktop pet for Mac and Windows that holds your to-do list and hands work to your AI agents. It sits on top of every window, reads the time out of what you type ("call Sam 2pm"), walks over to remind you before anything is due, and sends tasks to your AI agents over Telegram at the time you set, then tracks them until they are done. ## Who it is for

- People who want their to-do list in front of them, not in a tab they forget to open.
- People who run AI agents (Telegram bots, Claude, coding assistants) and want to give them tasks without leaving the work they are doing.

## What it does

- A small animated pet stays on screen, on top of every window, holding the day's list.
- Tasks are typed in plain words: "call Sam 2pm", "tomorrow 9am", "in 30 min", "every Monday 8am". Times are read in 11 languages.
- When a task is close, the pet walks over to the window you are working in and tells you. Snooze, repeat, and files kept with a task.
- The list keeps itself in time order, soonest first, and you can still move tasks by hand.
- Sync keeps the same list on your other computers; an iPhone and Android app is coming.

## AI agents: the superpowers

- Hand off a task in one line: start it with @ and the agent's Telegram bot, for example "@ResearchBot sum up this week's sales 3pm". At that time Petodo sends the errand to the agent.
- Petodo talks to your agents directly through your own connected Telegram bot, one to one or in a shared group.
- Every errand is tracked on your list as Started, Working on and Done; the pet tells you when it changes, and the task ticks itself off when the agent reports done.
- Agents can ask each other for help ("ask @DataBot: ...") and Petodo keeps it on the same task. The rules are posted in the group so every agent knows how to answer.
- Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor connect through the Petodo MCP server (npm package petodo-cli); any assistant that can call an HTTP API gets its own key to add, update, complete and report on tasks.
- You stay in control: every change an agent makes shows on your list, and each assistant's key can be revoked.
